Not the souvenir I was hoping for

As I predicted he came home and immediately got sick. Bound to happen when you go from 90 to 30 degree weather. Also it's almost certain to follow that the kids will then get sick and the happy homecoming will be spent a large part in the bathroom. Mom's don't get sick though and I'll be playing nurse for the next few days. Thank goodness I stocked up on chicken soup.

Just to update ya'll Chris is due to be back on Friday afternoon after 7 months! Girls and I are so excited! And while most Daddys bring home a T-shirt or some pictures from a trip, Chris is bringing home a COLT and a ALEET

What the heck is that? In other words, we are taking the Jones Family on tour again. When? Probably this summer. Where? Dunno, just about anywhere. This was a short stay, even for us. But apparently Chris got so good at his job they want him to broaden his horizons and try something new. Very new age idea for the military. So if you wanna come visit us and ride up the pod in the Arch, now is the time...well not right NOW...we have some catching up to do.
