So the sun came out today for the 1st time in awhile. So I finally got around to staining the playhouse roof. Ok all you do it yourself types, just a hint...stain BEFORE you put up the roof. Staining above your head is messy (who knew) and my arms are covered in what looks like poison ivy rash. Next project is the deck. Thank goodness I don't have to stain under it.

I watched the movie "Across the Universe" Sunday morning...ehhhh....hum....Yawn. I liked the music alot. Some of the visuals reminded me of the openings of James Bond movies. But it was so predictable and sappy. So Sunday evening I finished reading Mister B. Gone by Clive Barker hoping that the intriguing cover art was a sign of things to come....No. Snore. The Sunday cryptoquip in the paper was a better read. Dang two misses in one day.


Well the week is long and as the Military Wife's Prayer goes...

Give me a task to do each day
To fill the time while he is away.
