Today is hurry up and pack/get in that quality time/finish up the "Honey Do list" day. Email me if you want his mailing address. He must be feeling bad about going because belive it or not we almost adopted a cat yesterday. Yes, a living breathing one. I didn't let him do it on the same principle that a gentleman doesn't take advantage of a drunk woman...or something like that....for reference see the movie The Philidelphia Story.
It was a cute cat. Had a little black mark right under his nose so we were thinking of calling him Booger. But the thought of white hair all over our predomintaly dark furniture combined with the fact that it's a friggen cat sobered Chris out of that idea.
But it was a cute cat.

Coincidentily the Cards are playing the SF Giants tonight.
Long story short. Poopsie woke us up and right as Chris was gonna yell at her the shaking began. It lasted about 30 seconds and did no damage except to wake up LJ. She thought Poopsie was knocking on her door. Hannah didn't stir. Being from Southern California, I went back to bed.

Spewing in Hawaiian
I don't know if you heard, but Hannah got a new pet. You did? Well the big surprize is that two weeks later and she is still alive. The toad I mean.
She (don't ask me how I know it's a girl) ate a housefly yesterday. It was the highlight of Hannah's day.

Spring Fling
Last Saturday we had snowflakes. Instead of a rain dance, I will skip spring and go straight to summer by opening the pool.

Not so hot. For those who think having a pool is glamourous, let's just be thankful I didn't take a picture of the 5 pounds of dead worms we fished out.
On a more pleasant note, here are some pics of the flowers I have so far.
Tulips

My new favorite Columbine

And finally, the last sure sign of spring.

Chris in his new uniform getting ready to deploy this weekend.
